Golf
Course Superintendents Association of America
The Turf Managers' Short Course is approved for 10.7
GCSAA education points. These education points are applicable
towards Class A and certification entry and renewal
for GCSAA members.

Canadian
Golf Superintendents Association
The Turf Managers' Short Course is approved for 114
Continuing Education Credits from the CGSA.
Maintaining
Golf Courses Certificate
Graduates
of the Turf Managers' Short Course receive two courses
of credit transfer towards the Maintaining
Golf Courses certificate offered by the Office of
Open Learning at the University of Guelph. These credits
include the Turf Management and Weed Management
in Turf courses.
IPM Council of Canada:
The Turf Managers' Short Course has been accredited
by the IPM Council of Canada for
8 Continuing Education Credits for their IPM
accreditation program.
Awards
Certificate
of Achievement
Participants who successfully complete the Turf Managers'
Short Course will be awarded a University of Guelph
Certificate of Achievement.
Ontario Golf Superintendents' Association Turfgrass
Education Scholarships
The Ontario Golf
Superintendents' Association awards a scholarship
to the student with the highest overall class mark.
The student must be a resident of Ontario and be employed
at a golf course in Ontario. No application is necessary
for this scholarship.

Professional Lawn Care Association Awards
The Professional Lawn
Care Association of Ontario offers two awards to
the two top students with the highest overall marks
of the annual Turf Managers' Short Course. Both award
recipients must work in the professional lawn care industry.
Dr. J. L. Eggens Scholarship
This $500 scholarship will be awarded to the participant
who exhibits both leadership and academic proficiency
as chosen by fellow classmates, subject to approval
by course instructors. The scholarship will be awarded
at the course banquet and the recipient's name will
be affixed to a plaque which hangs in the foyer of the
GTI.
Sports Turf Association Scholarship
The Sports
Turf Association offers a $1000 scholarship annually.
TMSC participants may apply if they are Canadian citizens
and have worked for a Sports Turf Association employer.
